ProtoShield Kit V1.0 for Arduino, Stackable

Description

The Protoshield board mates with the Arduino or Freeduino board and gives the user a small soldering area, one power LED, one general LEDs, a general pushbutton, and the reset button. It comes in kit form and should be soldered together by the end user.

Features

• All Arduino pins are accessible on the top
• 1 row of GND and 1 row of 5V power in the middle
• 6 rows of independent through-hole pads
• 6 rows of bread-board style through-hole pads
• 1 SOIC-16 SMT footprint with through-hole links
• PCB will not short the USB socket on Arduino
• MOST importantly – Protoshield v1.0 board is STACKABLE!! So you can plug as many as these boards on top of each other. It can also be used to interface other boards, for example the LDC keypad shield can be plugged onto this Protoshield.
